Wallbach is located in the north of Switzerland directly on the Rhine and thus on the border with Germany. Here begin several activities that lead into the Jurapark Aargau. In Wallbach, the Rhine flows for several kilometers not to the west but to the north, bypassing a terminal moraine of the last ice age. Worth seeing are some houses near the river, which date back to the 19th century. One of the houses is 200 years older than all the others and still has a thatched roof. There is also an interesting fossil museum in the village. (Photo: Jurapark Aargau)
