Arrival and departure
In the valley station of the cable cars Chur you will get your route, the round trip ticket and the vouchers for the restaurants. The recommended start time is between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. Please stick to this start time.
You take the Chur-Dreibündenstein aerial tramway first to the Känzeli middle station. From there a quad gondola goes up to Brambrüesch.
Here begins the panoramic trail to Pradaschier. You enjoy the mountain idyll and a great view of the Lenzerheidner mountains.
After a starter in the Bergbaiz Brambrüesch you continue on pleasantly flat terrain to the Malixer Alp. The ascent begins on the path to Galti Alp and soon you're on a pleasant descent down to the Pradaschier mountain station.
You will be served the main course and then ride down the toboggan run to Churwalden, where dessert awaits you. The toboggan run, which is open all year round, has 31 curves and a length of 3060 m (difference in altitude 480 m). This makes it the longest toboggan run in Switzerland.
You will visit three restaurants:
The round trip ends with a ride from Churwalden by post bus to the starting point in Chur.
Practical information:
Only a few steps away from the train station in Chur you will find the Bündner Kunstmuseum at Bahnhofstrasse 35. Here, changing exhibitions of Grisons artists are shown. Special highlights are collections of the artist Angelika Kauffmann and the Giacometti family. An exhibition of works from the Expressionist period is also a focus of the museum.
