2-day guided Churfirstentour

You will meet up with your guide and other participants very early at 5:50 am. On the first day, you will climb four of the seven Churfirsten peaks.

Afterwards, you will walk back together to the Berghotel Sellamatt, where you will also have a meal (afternoon snack and 4-course menu in the evening) and spend the night. In the meantime, your luggage will have been taken from the meeting point to the hotel.

After a very early breakfast, the hike to the last three of the Churfirsten peaks begins. On the way, a refreshing drink and local meat and cheese specialties are served at the Ochsenhütte. The guided mountain tour ends with the return to the starting point of the tour via shuttle bus. The shuttle bus already has your luggage from the hotel.

Ascent of the seven Churfirsten:

• Chäserrugg, Hinterrugg, Schibenstoll and Zuestoll (first day)
• Brisi, Frümsel, Selun (second day)

Practical information:

• This tour requires very good stamina, especially on the descents
• Small group of four to six participants
• Arrival the day before incl. overnight stay recommended

If you like the region around Toggenburg and would like to stay a little longer in the mountain hotel, we recommend the legend trail. You can download the individual legends to your cell phone or tablet for a small fee. The legend trail is easy to walk and can be completed in 3 to 5 hours (short and long versions). Over a length of 12 km, you only have to climb 250 meters in altitude.

You have two booking options for this tour:

• Variant 1: Overnight stay from Saturday to Sunday
• Variant 2: Overnight stay from Friday to Sunday

As the guided tour starts very early in the morning, we recommend option 2.

Please note:

• The Berghotel Sellamatt is easily accessible with the Sellamatt cable car between 8.30 am and 5 pm.
• Access to the Berghotel Sellamatt via a toll road (CHF 13/day per car). There is a free parking lot at the Berghotel.

• Prerequisite: fitness for 10 hours of hiking per day
• Safe on blue-white hiking trails and sure-footed in rough terrain
