Aletsch Arena Ticket Discovery Pass

This day ticket gives you free travel in the Aletsch Arena. The family-friendly Aletsch Arena is located in the Valais in close proximity to the famous Aletsch Glacier. With 20 km it is the longest glacier in the Alps and reaches from Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Valais.

The three car-free alps Bettmeralp, Riederalp and Fiescheralp offer you an idyllic time out and wonderful views into the valley.

The viewpoints:

• Eggishorn: the highest of the viewpoints at 2869 m.a.s.l. Reach it from Fiesch via Fiescheralp
• Bettmerhorn: at an altitude of 2647 m.a.s.l., this viewpoint offers a comfortable opportunity to admire the glacier in the Panorama Restaurant. This viewpoint is barrier-free and ideal for strollers and wheelchairs.
• Hohfluh: at an altitude of 2227 m.a.s.l. with a view of the impressive curves of the glacier.
• Moosfluh: at an altitude of 2333 m.a.s.l. you can enjoy a view of the Aletsch glacier.

Mountain railway routes:

• From Fiesch to Fiescheralp and to Eggishorn
• From Betten to Bettmeralp and up to Bettmerhorn
• From Mörel to Riederalp (incl. ride to the viewpoints Hohfluh and Moosfluh)

• Chairlift Wurzenbord: from Bettmeralp, a mountain trip can be made in winter with the chairlift to Wurzenbord

The Aletsch Arena is a nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the information center "Pro Natura" in Brig you can find out everything about the organization and book e.g. exhibitions, courses and excursions.
