With around 25,000 residents, Baar is the second largest municipality in the Canton of Zug. It is centrally located between Zurich and Lucerne and has excellent transport links. The municipality is characterized by its scenic diversity, featuring numerous forests and recreational areas between Albis and Zugerberg. Baar offers a vibrant cultural scene, many clubs, and traditional events like the Räbefasnacht. Historically, Baar has been inhabited for over 4,700 years.
