Andeer is located in the Graubünden region at 983 m above sea level and is primarily known for its healing spring. The water you drink has an anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effect. The modern Schams spa in Andeer uses this healing mineral water. The Roflaschlucht gorge near Andeer was made famous by a returnee from America. He blew up some rocks and thus made it possible to cross under the thundering Rhine waterfall in the gorge. The Via Spluga long-distance hiking trail from Thusis to Chiavenna in Italy also passes through Andeer. (Photo: Switzerland Tourism, Markus Buehler-Rasom)
