Walenstadt is an idyllically situated community on the eastern shore of Lake Walen. It is located in Sarganserland and offers a variety of leisure activities such as hiking and water sports. A beautiful shore hike leads from Walenstadt to Quinten. From Walenstadt you have an excellent view of the mighty Churfirsten chain.
