Drinks and catering
You climb as a beginner or with the family through the first part of the via ferrata in Zermatt. You will be accompanied by an experienced mountain guide. The pure climbing time in the 2.9 km long part is about 90 min. The walk to the entrance and from the exit to the train station Zermatt takes about 30 min each.
Within this first part of the via ferrata you will climb about 314 meters in both directions.
The mammoth via ferrata Schweifinen requires skill, a head for heights and surefootedness.
Route A is particularly suitable for children, families and beginners.
