Description
With this train ticket you can travel from Zurich to Chur or from Chur to Zurich. You also have the option of booking a return ticket. The route between the two cities is very scenic, as you travel along Lake Zurich and Lake Walen. You will also pass through the Zimmerberg Base Tunnel on the way.

The express train takes about 1:30 hours for this route. As a rule, it only stops at 2 or 3 of the indicated stops. These are usually the stops at Ziegelbrücke and Sargans or Sargans and Landquart.

Swiss Activities Tip
If you are traveling from Zurich to Chur, you should sit on the left-hand side in the direction of travel in order to have a particularly good view of the two lakes. For the route from Chur to Zurich, it is best to sit on the right-hand side.

- SBB trains increasingly have low-floor entrances (marked NF in the timetable).
- The SBB Callcenter Handicap organizes assistance when changing trains where platforms have not yet been raised and floors have not yet been adjusted. It helps you to prepare for barrier-free travel or if you need help en route.
Out and about with the dog
- Small dogs up to 30 cm are free of charge if they remain in a transport container for the entire journey. This must be pushed under your seat.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket: half the price of 2nd class or the minimum fare (Dog Day Pass, Dog Pass). They must sit under the seat so that the passageway is not blocked for other passengers.

Für die Buchungs eines Tickets im Wert von 21 Franken musste ich Bearbeitungsgebühren in der Höhe von 2.90 Franken bezahlen. Das ist unverschämt! Dann kann ich gleich direkt auf den SBB-Webseiten buchen!

Das Zugbillett konnte ich online buchen und erhielt es dann als PDF. Dieses speicherte ich auf meinem Handy ab und zeigte es dann sowohl dem Lokführer als auch dem Kondukteur.
