Swiss Activities Tip
You travel from Zurich Airport directly to the Bernese Oberland (or vice versa). From Zurich, it's best to sit on the left-hand side if you want to admire Lake Thun later on. On the right-hand side you then have a direct view of the Jungfrau region.
Traveling in a wheelchair
- SBB trains increasingly have low-floor entrances (marked NF in the timetable).
- The SBB Callcenter Handicap organizes assistance when changing trains where platforms have not yet been raised and floors have not yet been adjusted. It will help you to prepare for barrier-free travel or if you need assistance en route. Please register at least 24 hours before your journey.
Traveling with your dog
- Small dogs up to 30 cm are free of charge if they remain in a transport container for the entire journey. This must be pushed under your seat.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket: half the price of 2nd class or the minimum fare (Dog Day Pass, Dog Pass). They must sit under the seat so that the passageway is not blocked for other passengers.
