From Zurich, the bus and tour guide will take you south. On the way you will learn more about the history and the manifold traditions of Switzerland in an entertaining and informative way. A short photo stop is made at Lake Lucerne.
The first longer stop is charming Lucerne. A short orientation tour will introduce you to the most important sights. Afterwards you can explore the city on foot. Afterwards, you will continue your journey and arrive in the idyllic alpine village of Engelberg.
From Engelberg, the state-of-the-art Titlis Xpress cable car will take you up to the summit of this striking mountain. There, you'll be treated to an incredible view of Switzerland's world-famous Alpine panorama.
The unique and spinning Titlis cable car (called Rotair) provides a view of deep crevasses, snow-capped peaks and distant mountain ranges. In the Glacier Grotto, you'll get even closer to the eternal ice. The Ice Flyer chairlift takes you to the glacier park, where more adventurous activities await you. For example, the highest suspension bridge in Europe, the so-called Cliff Walk, beckons.
After all these alpine adventures, you will return to Zurich in the late afternoon by coach.
Practical Information:
If you spend even more time in Zurich, you will probably also explore the city itself. A visit to the Grossmünster is very worthwhile. However, many people don't know that you can climb one of the two towers of the imposing church. Climb a narrow spiral staircase to the top and admire the unique view over the city.
