The rope park Parco Avventura Monte Tamaro is very popular. Here is also the Final Tamaro Jumping with a free fall from a height of about 13 m
The rope park itself consists of fixed and movable obstacles stretched through the branches of centuries-old beech trees. You should allow at least 2.5 hours for one run.
Three courses (mini, medium, large) are tailored to the minimum age of the participants. Each course consists of a wide variety of exercises. In total, Parco Avventura has 63 obstacles with different levels of difficulty for the whole family.
It is open to people who are at least 140 cm tall and 9 years old. Here you master different levels of difficulty, which gradually increase. The course leads through the entire forest at a height of 3 to 13 meters. The crowning glory is the Final Tamaro Jumping from a height of about 13 m.
Children with a height between 120 cm and 150 cm and from the age of 7 may use this course. It brings mainly safety exercises with exercises at a height of three to 8 meters. A new "Extreme" level is available for the more daring at the end of this course.
Children from the age of 4 may participate, provided they are not taller than 130 cm. The course is exclusively for children and brings the exercises of the higher courses at a height of about one meter. The different levels of difficulty can thus be practiced and mastered even by the youngest.
The individual exercises are secured throughout the Parco Avventura Monte Tamaro by a Clic-it carabiner system. This prevents the safety ropes from coming loose completely. Safety ropes are located on all courses.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided by the rope park for each participant.
You can get to the adventure park via the Monte Tamaro cable car from Rivera. It is located in the forest near the mid station of the cable car and is reached via a gravel path.
The Parco Avventura Gordola has several courses of different difficulty levels. There are 75 games to be completed on nine levels of difficulty. 1100 meters of ropes are stretched between the trees as floating courses for this purpose.
For this purpose, floating platforms made of wood or ropes have been attached, cables and pulleys have been installed. Here you can do balance exercises or tests of concentration. Jumping from tree to tree is possible over the whole area.
In addition, there are 9 tyroliennes and one giant tyrolienne (150 m).
From the train station Gordola the Rope Park Parco Avventura Gordola is only 800 meters away. It is located close to the Verzasca River next to the "Campo Sportivo Roviscaglie" sports facility.
