The Titlis Cliff Walk and the glacier cave are connected by a circular route. The connection is usually closed in winter due to snow drifts. Don't worry though, if the link is closed you can still visit both attractions and simply turn around to get to the other.
You can reach the Cliff Walk suspension bridge by crossing the glacier outside the 5th floor of the Titlis mountain station. It's a short, five-minute walk. Be prepared though, because the view from the bridge is breathtaking and not for people with a fear of heights.
You can reach the glacier cave directly from the third floor of the station. The cave is designed with impressive lighting and constantly changing colors. You will feel as if you have entered a magical place.
The Titlis Cliff Walk can be reached via Engelberg by cable car. The valley station is only a 10-minute walk from Engelberg train station. Buy your ticket to the Titlis right here.
Engelberg is easily accessible by train from Lucerne or Zurich. The train ride from Lucerne to Engelberg takes about 45 minutes. From Engelberg train station you can reach the cable car station in only 10 minutes on foot.
If you are arriving by car, paid parking is available near the Titlis valley station.
Engelberg is also easy to reach by car. Take the E35/A2 freeway from Lucerne in the direction of the Gotthard Pass and then take exit no. 33 in Stans-Süd. From there follow the signs to Engelberg. The road leads through a valley and is well signposted. From the highway it is about 20 km to Engelberg. The road has some serpentines, but even in winter there are usually no difficulties.
The Titlis Cliff Walk is accessible all year round and offers something special in every season. The best time to travel is on clear days with good visibility, but the season does not matter much. In winter, Titlis is covered with snow and offers an impressive winter landscape. In summer, the green areas around the Trübsee and Jochpass are particularly beautiful.
