Grindelwald Terminal is a very modern transport hub that connects two valley stations with the regional train station. The terminal was built in connection with the so-called V-project of Jungfrau Railways in the years 2018 to 2020
The terminal provides short distances and quick connections from Grindelwald to the Eigergletscher, Jungfraujoch, and Männlichen. The Grindelwald Terminal is very well connected to the surrounding area by regional trains and buses.
The Grindelwald Terminal includes two valley stations for cable cars. The train station of the Berner Oberland-Bahnen (Rothenegg Station) is directly connected to the terminal, as is the parking garage. On Level 4 of the parking garage, you can also charge your electric car.

From Interlaken Ost you can reach the Grindelwald Terminal in only 30 min with the Bernese Oberland Railway from Interlaken-Ost station. The regional train R61 runs every 30 min to and from Grindelwald Terminal.
From Bern it takes about an hour with a change of trains in Interlaken Ost and, depending on the connection, in Spiez.
The journey by car from Interlaken Ost also takes about half an hour The parking garage in Grindelwald Terminal offers 1000 parking spaces and is conveniently booked online. Entry and exit is via a QR code.
By car, you are also an hour away from Bern and take the same route as the train along Lake Thun. At Interlaken airport, turn off in the direction of Grindelwald.
From Grindelwald Terminal, there are two aerial cable cars. The newest one is the Eiger Express, which reduces the travel time to Jungfraujoch by half compared to the original cogwheel train route.
