Jungfraubahnen

Jungfrau Railways is one of the largest transport and tourism companies in Switzerland. They operate excursion railroads and winter sports facilities in the Jungfrau region. In the heart of the Bernese Oberland, the holding company operates with 11 subsidiaries. They bring more than a million visitors a year to the Jungfraujoch, also known as the "Top of Europe". Jungfrau Railway subsidiaries include the Jungfrau Railway, the First Railway, the Mürren Railway and the Harder Railway. With the generation project of the V-Bahn, the Jungfrau Railways achieved a reduction in travel times of the mountain railroads from Grindelwald to the Jungfraujoch by 45 min from December 2020. A significant part of this is the new 3S-Bahn Eiger Express, which takes only 15 min to get from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier.
