The Patrouille des Glaciers is one of the toughest team competitions in the world. It leads past various glaciers to Arolla. On this ski tour, follow the route of the competition and overcome the many exciting obstacles.
For a briefing with the mountain guide, the first meeting point is at ZERMATTERS at 17:00 the day before. The next morning the real start is at 09:00. Together you take the cable car and the gondola to the glittering Schwarzsee. There you start the descent towards Stafelalp. After the descent you climb up to the cozy Schönbielhütte, where you spend the night.
In the morning of the second day, a steep descent to the Zmutt glacier awaits you. On the glacier plateau of Tiefmatten, the great ascent towards Tête Blanche begins. On the way up you will pass the glacier plateau Col de la Tête Blanche. After a short descent over the glacier du Mont Miné, the last long descent to Arolla is ahead. From there, after a short break, you make your way back to Zermatt.
