Description
You will take part in a guided 3-day ski tour in a small group. During these days you will learn important applications of avalanche awareness. The federally certified mountain guide Bruno Bösch leads the tour and adapts it according to the weather conditions. Overnight stays are in the Plattenbödeli and in the Zwinglipasshütte.
Practical information:
- Prerequisite: safe skiing or snowboarding on black slopes
- Knowledge of avalanche awareness is required
- Condition for approx. 4-5 hours and 1200 hm ascent and descent required
- Realization of the tour from 4 participants
Program 3-day avalanche and high altitude course with ski touring
1. day:
- You take the cable car from Schwägalp up to Säntis at 2502 m above sea level.
- In the restaurant you talk together about the day's planning, goals and expectations over coffee and a summit
- Ski tour to Plattenbödeli at Lake Sämtis (application tour)
- Overnight stay in Plattenbödeli
2. day:
- Ascent to the Zwinglipass hut
- Overnight stay in the Zwinglipasshütte
3. day:
- You will do a ski tour together from the Zwinglipasshütte (application tour).
- Ascent to the Altmann
- descent to Wildhaus
