Experience the unparalleled feeling of gliding through fresh powder snow on untouched slopes and discovering hidden runs. With the personalized guidance of an experienced snowboard guide, you can specifically improve your off-piste technique and gain even more confidence.
The versatile freeride terrain of Verbier offers challenges and experiences for every level. Far away from the groomed slopes, you can feel the freedom and adventure in pristine nature.
Three beautiful freeride routes in the ski area:
The freeride route Mont Gelé offers an exceptionally beautiful view of Les Attelas and the lake. It is located in the heart of the Verbier 4 Vallées ski area. You can reach it by cable car at an altitude of 3023 m above sea level and have the choice between two official routes: The Grande Journée goes over the eastern slope towards Tortin. Alternatively, you can access La Chaux and the mountain hut Cabane Mont-Fort via the southern slope.
Chassoure Tortin is an off-piste route renowned for its bumps, steep slopes, and powder snow possibilities. It runs below the cable car and is considered one of the most difficult runs in the 4 Vallées.
At Col des Gentianes, you have access to the longest mogul run in Europe. It also leads down to Tortin. You can reach it via the Jumbo and Mont-Fort cable cars at an altitude of 2950 m above sea level.
This course is aimed at snowboarders of levels 6 and 7:
Level 6: Advanced: You confidently master red slopes, regardless of the conditions, and also excel on most black runs. You want to further develop your technique in carving, off-piste, or mogul runs.
Level 7: Expert: You handle black slopes and challenging routes with ease. You are working on your speed and technique in carving, on mogul slopes, or in deep snow, and refining jumps and tricks in the freestyle park.
