Description
The lessons are aimed at children and adults who want to learn how to snowboard (starting from Blue Prince/Princess level).
The lessons take place in small groups. This allows for individual attention and a pleasant exchange. The focus of the ski school is to combine the fun of snowboarding with learning success and safety.
On the first day, after a demonstration at the meeting point, the individual groups are formed.
Level
The following levels of the Swiss Snow League apply:
Blue Prince/Princess:
- Information about snowboard equipment
- Gliding riding in a traverse
- Information about behavior on slopes (FIS rules)
- Gliding to full base riding
- Gliding turns
Blue King/Queen:
- Information about the safe use of transport facilities (e.g., drag lift)
- Information about warming up
- Rotational turns
- Waltz
- Wheelie
- Two-footed take-off on the slope
Blue Star:
- Behavior in the snow park
- Switch jumps
- Speed check
- Fifty-fifty over a simple box
- Jumps over small jump facilities
Red Prince/Princess:
- Small freestyle glossary
- Stretch and bend turns
- Powerslide
- Ollie/N'Ollie on the slope
- 180° on the slope
Red King/Queen:
- Information about nature, forests, and landscapes
- Carved turns
- Slide on the slope
- Ollie/N'Ollie on the slope
- Basic air
