Description
Take the cable car up to the Schilthorn and treat yourself to a hearty snack in the Panorama Restaurant. Board the Schilthorn cable car in Stechelberg or Mürren and travel to the Schilthorn station. Enjoy a delicious snack in the Piz Gloria Restaurant. You can even watch your meat platter being prepared live. Enjoy a glass of wine, a beer or a soft drink of your choice.
The view from the Schilthorn is breathtaking. The view extends over mountain peaks and the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate. You can start the return journey at a time of your choice and take the cable car back to Stechelberg or Mürren.

Swiss Activities Tip
For the adventurous, the Birg intermediate station offers the so-called Thrill Walk. A glass-bottomed walkway leads along the steep rock faces over the abyss. Your train ticket is valid all day, a detour to Birg will be worth it!
The word "Zvieri" is a Swiss-German word and describes a snack that is eaten at around 16:00.
