Gotthard Panorama Express Ticket

The Gotthard Panorama Express takes you either from Lucerne to Lugano or from Lugano to Lucerne. You travel across Lake Lucerne on a steam or motor ship.

Between Flüelen and Lugano, the train operates with extra-large panoramic windows. The panorama train travels on the historic railway line between Central Switzerland and Ticino. This includes various spiral tunnels up to Göschenen and further on the old Gotthard tunnel to Airolo.

On the train and on the ship, you can indulge in culinary delights. The menu features Swiss dishes and beverages. If you would like to reserve a table in the restaurant on the ship, please contact the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company directly.

• The panoramic train is not wheelchair accessible. It has neither wheelchair compartments nor wheelchair-accessible toilets
• Boarding and alighting is only possible at the stops Arth-Goldau, Flüelen, Bellinzona, and Lugano.
• Travelers with reduced mobility sit in regular seats, independent boarding and alighting must be possible, or the wheelchair must be less than 620 mm wide.
• Boarding and alighting with wheelchairs is easily possible on the ship.
• Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available on the ship as well as in Arth-Goldau, Flüelen (Platform 1), Bellinzona, and Lugano.

• You need a first-class seat reservation for this journey on the panoramic train. On the boat, you ride without a reservation.
