Gotthard Panorama Express Ticket from Lucerne or Lugano (without seat reservation)

The Gotthard Panorama Express takes you either from Lucerne to Lugano or from Lugano to Lucerne. You can travel across Lake Lucerne by steamboat or motorboat.

The train with extra-large panoramic windows runs between Flüelen and Lugano. The panoramic train runs on the historic railroad line between Central Switzerland and Ticino. This includes various helical tunnels up to Göschenen and on through the old Gotthard tunnel to Airolo.

You can indulge in culinary delights on the train and on the boat. The menu includes Swiss dishes and drinks. If you would like to reserve a table in the restaurant on the boat, please contact the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company directly.

You may have noticed that the prices vary depending on the date. This is because your Gotthard Panorama Express ticket is also an SBB 1st class Saver Day Pass. These tickets have dynamic prices. The earlier you book, the greater your chance of getting a cheaper price.

The ticket is valid on the entire Swiss public transport network on the day you travel. This means that not only the panoramic route, but also your journey to and from Lugano or Lucerne is included in the ticket price.

• The panorama train is not wheelchair accessible. It has neither wheelchair compartments nor wheelchair-accessible toilets
• Boarding and alighting is only possible at the Arth-Goldau, Flüelen, Bellinzona and Lugano stops.
• Passengers with reduced mobility sit in a normal seat, independent boarding and alighting must be possible or the wheelchair is less than 620 mm wide.
• Wheelchairs can be boarded and disembarked on the ship without any problems.
• Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available on the ship and in Arth-Goldau, Flüelen (platform 1), Bellinzona and Lugano.

• You need a first-class seat reservation for this journey on the panoramic train. On the boat, you travel without a reservation.
