Saint-Ursanne is a historic small town situated between two Jura chains in the wooded, narrow valley of the Doubs. Saint-Ursanne is reached via the Saint-Jean Népomucène bridge. Its medieval townscape is characterized by burgher houses from the 14th to the 16th century. Also three old city gates are still the entrances to the city. Also worth seeing are the old collegiate church and the early Gothic cloister from the 14th century. North of the town you can see the ruins of a castle that was first mentioned in the 13th century.
