Rorschach is a charming harbor town. It is located at the southernmost point of Lake Constance and is surrounded by green hills of the Appenzellerland. A beautiful lakeside promenade with many restaurants and bars attracts visitors to the lakeside for a walk and dinner. The most important landmark of the town is a granary, which is considered the most beautiful granary in Switzerland. The granary was put into operation in 1749 and today it is an interesting museum. In addition, Rorschach is characterized by the Wartensee and Wartegg castles located above the town. The surrounding area offers many leisure activities such as hiking, cycling and water sports.
