Pully is located on the eastern outskirts of Lausanne, directly on the northern shores of Lake Geneva. The village is one of the most prosperous suburbs of Lausanne. The area extends to the forest slopes of Pully in the east and to the valley of the Vuachère stream in the west. In terms of transportation, Pully is located directly on the main road and has a connection to the railroad between Bern and Lausanne. A landing stage of the shipping company CGN SA for the line Lausanne - Vevey is also located in the village. Some 18th and 19th century winegrowers' houses have been preserved in the village center. The Musée d'art de Pully exhibits contemporary art.
