The bus starts in Lucerne and the surrounding area at a place agreed by arrangement, where you will meet your local guide.
You travel: by bus to the Bernese Oberland.
Your tour guide will accompany you for the entire day trip. He will teach you and your group about the history and traditions of this region.
You visit: The Aare Gorge in Meiringen.
In Meiringen you will visit the impressive Aare Gorge. It is accompanied by glacier-carved cliffs and is an impressive experience.
You will visit: The Reichenbach Falls.
Afterwards you will visit the nearby Reichenbach Falls. This almost 300 m high waterfall is world famous thanks to its role in a Sherlock Holmes movie
You visit: Brienz.
In the picturesque town of Brienz you can immerse yourself in the typical life of the region. The pretty town on Lake Brienz is famous for its woodcarvings
You eat: at the Giessbach Hotel
Not far from Brienz are the world famous Giessbach Falls. Optionally, you can take a break here and have lunch at the majestic Giessbach Hotel. You should not miss the view from the terrace of the turquoise-blue Lake Brienz.
You see: the Trümmelbach Falls.
Another highlight is a visit to the Trümmelbach Falls. The only underground waterfalls in Europe carry an incredible 20,000 liters of water per second. They drain the glacier walls of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
You are visiting: Grindelwald.
You can also visit the alpine village of Grindelwald, which captivates with its fairytale atmosphere and impressive views of the Eiger North Face, on the tour.
Optional: further stopovers.
As this is a private tour with a flexible program, you can include additional stops. So if you want to visit the open-air museum Ballenberg or the Glasi in Hergiswil, let your tour guide know. Depending on your time budget, you can easily adjust the route
Return journey: Lucerne.
At the end of the day, the bus will take you back to your agreed end point in Lucerne, where you will say goodbye to your tour guide.
