Tour
The Prättigau extends east of the Chur Rhine Valley to the Austrian Montafon. To the north, the Prättigau is bordered by the eastern Alps, which reach about 3000 m above sea level, with peaks such as the Schesaplana. In its valley flows the Landquart. The Salginatobel bridge on the road from Schiers to Schuders, which has spanned the 90 m deep Salginaschlucht gorge as a Swiss world monument since 1930, is well known beyond national borders. In summer, the Partnunsee and the Prättigauer Höhenweg are popular excursion destinations. In winter, it's the 12 km long toboggan run of the Fideriser Heuberge and the many ski touring and snowshoe opportunities.
