Postbus ride Disentis Lukmanierpass
The Postbus line 481 runs along the Lukmanier Pass route. From Disentis, the journey initially takes you along the hilly Val Medel. The Vorderrhein accompanies you, sometimes on the left, later on the right in the direction of travel. The Vorderrhein is dammed in the Lai da Sontga Maria on the Lukmanier Pass. The pass is 1920 m above sea level.
You can get off at any stop along the way and enjoy the view or hiking routes individually. In this case, check the timetable so that you know when to be ready at the stop for the next Postbus.

Swiss Activities Tip
It's worth getting off at the Acla or Pardatsch postbus stops. Here you can reach a platform that gives you a good view of the "Cascada Fimatsch" waterfall. The path to the platform is signposted from the Lukmanierstrasse.
Traveling in a wheelchair
- The Postbuses are generally equipped for the transportation of wheelchairs. The door for wheelchair access has a corresponding symbol.
- The Postbus between Disentis and Lukmanier Pass has an integrated lift that is operated by the driver (no advance notice required). This is marked as HL in the SBB timetable.
Traveling with a dog
- Small dogs up to 30 cm are free of charge if they remain in a transport container for the entire journey. This must be pushed under your seat.
- Dogs without a container and all dogs over 30 cm shoulder height require a valid dog ticket: half the price of 2nd class or the minimum fare (Dog Day Pass, Dog Pass). They must sit under the seat so that the passageway is not blocked for other passengers.
