Riederalp paragliding tandem in Valais

Experience the feeling of complete freedom in the air and glide over the breathtaking natural landscape of the Valais. You can look down on the UNESCO-designated Aletsch glacier or catch a glimpse of the famous Matterhorn. Riederalp is a car-free area at over 1900 m above sea level, making it the perfect take-off point for your aerial adventure.

A short safety briefing and a small crash course on paragliding will prepare you optimally for your flight. You will also receive your equipment such as gloves or helmet. From the starting point you will begin your flight with your tandem partner and fly towards the opening of the valley. From here you can even see the Matterhorn on clear days.

The landing takes place in Bitsch. Here you will part from your tandem pilot again and can start your return journey. The stop of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn is in the immediate vicinity.

Practical Information:

• Bring along: Sturdy shoes are compulsory, windbreaker (summer), ski clothing (winter), sun protection and UV sunglasses
• Depending on the weather the flight may be cancelled or postponed

The route between Riederalp and Bitsch is considered very popular among paragliders. Due to the good thermals it is possible to make very long flights. Bring your own small compact camera to film the beautiful landscape and the flight.
