The Moesa region consists of two valleys that stretch between Ticino and Italy from Mesocco and Rossa in the north to Roveredo in the south. The region got its name from the river of the same name, which in the Misox Valley, as a tributary of the Ticino, reaches a length of about 46 km between San Vittore in the south and Lago d'Isola in the north. In the second valley (Calanca Valley), the Calancasca flows between Rossa in the north to join the Moesa east of Roveredo. The A13 highway coming from San Bernardino crosses the valley along the Moesa River.
There are exciting activities to do in Moesa. These include a visit to the Castello di Mesocco, a trip by car or motorcycle over the San Bernardino Pass, hiking, quad biking or biking.
