Description
From Zermatt, you ride for about 40 minutes up to 3821 m above sea level to the highest cable car station in Europe. Your ticket is also valid for the return trip. At the stations along the way, you can hop on and off as you please on the day of booking.
Included in the fare is admission to the Glacier Palace and the 3S Info-Cube at Trockener Steg. Here, you can learn more about the 3S cable car project. The Glacier Palace features beautiful handcrafted ice sculptures. In the Cinemalounge, you can watch films about the snowy and icy world as well as mountaineering.

- Zermatt (valley station)
- Furi - First intermediate station, at about 1867 m above sea level.
- Trockener Steg - important intermediate station at about 2939 m above sea level. Here you can look out over the Theodul Glacier.
- Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (Klein Matterhorn) – final station at about 3821 m above sea level.
Practical Information:
- Suitable for: wheelchair users and strollers (low-floor access NF)
- Dogs are allowed in the cable car. Generally, they must be leashed, and it’s a good idea to bring a muzzle just in case it’s required.

The view from the top was fantastic. Despite the clouds, we managed to see some clear peaks on our way down from the cable car.
