Description
With the ticket, you can use the ships on Lake Zurich between Rapperswil and Männedorf / Wädenswil. The pure travel time for this round trip is about 2:00 hours. Please note that depending on the connection, you may need to change in Wädenswil to get back to Rapperswil.
Since this ticket is valid for 24 hours, you can also use it for other trips with the transport services in the ZVV zones 152, 153, 180, and 181. This also includes buses and trains.
Onboard the restaurant, you have the option to buy food and drinks.
Practical information:
- Suitable for: wheelchair users, strollers, dogs (over 30 cm with a 2nd class ticket for dogs)
- Bringing bikes is not guaranteed (bike ticket required)
- Check the timetable before you start your trip. Sometimes you have to change in Wädenswil for the round trip.
Swiss Activities Tip
Rapperswil is the city of roses. You can find them pretty much everywhere, even in the city's coat of arms. The old town (13th to 17th century) is a nice spot for a trip. The castle (13th century) stands above the old town on a rocky spur and is surrounded by water on three sides. The wooden bridge on the southeastern side of the Seedamm is specially designed for pedestrians. Knie's children's zoo is the winter quarters of the Swiss Circus Knie. Here, direct contact with the animals is the main focus.

All the passenger ships on Lake Zurich are wheelchair accessible.
- Ride in a wheelchair in 2nd class (1st class also possible on MS Panta Rhei)
- Wheelchair must not be wider than 80 cm
- MS Bachtel does not have wheelchair accessible restrooms
- Staff will assist as needed at all docks during boarding
