Boat trip ticket from Lausanne to Chillon Castle and back

This 3-hour boat trip takes you past the beautiful vineyards of Lavaux, the Alpine peaks in the canton of Vaud, and the Haute-Savoie. At the end of the boat ride, you'll also be greeted by the historic Château de Chillon. The journey starts in Lausanne-Ouchy on the paddle steamer Belle Époque. Along the way, you'll cruise past the Lavaux vineyards, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site. The view of the vineyards from the boat is absolutely unique.

After that, you’ll arrive at Château de Chillon. This famous castle sits on an oval rock island and was originally built to control the route between northern and southern Europe. If you want to break your journey, you can get off here and take the next boat back to Lausanne. Just check the current timetable for that.

During the boat trip, you can optionally treat yourself to a snack. For lunch, it's recommended to book in advance.

You can get on or off at any station, but there are only 3 trips a day, so we recommend checking the exact timetable beforehand and deciding on a disembarkation point.

Dog:

• free up to 30 cm shoulder height
• half price for the 2nd class over 30 cm shoulder height, even if you booked 1st class as a guest
• Tickets are available at the CGN counter

Wheelchair:

• Ships are wheelchair accessible for "standard-size" wheelchairs, but only on the main deck (upper deck is only accessible via stairs)
• Width of passenger bridges at all large docking stations, at smaller docking stations, wider (electric) wheelchairs may not pass.

Stroller:

• Can stay on the main deck if you want to visit the upper deck

• with 1st class tickets, restaurant areas on the main deck and the upper deck are accessible at any time
• with 2nd class tickets, the restaurant area can only be entered during meal times
