The Kartause Ittingen is a former monastery in Thurgau. The monastery was founded in the 12th century and has undergone various renovations over the 900 years since. The original Augustinian monastery was transferred to the Carthusians in the mid-15th century. Today, it is used as a cultural and seminar center and features beautiful gardens and parks.
