In one day on the Rigi and the Pilatus! With this guided tour exactly that is possible
You can expect a day tour from Lucerne to the peaks of the Rigi and Pilatus incl. boat trip for young and old!
Meeting point: Lucerne train station.
At Lucerne train station you will meet your guide and you will set off to the Rigi.
You see: the Rigi.
In the morning you will discover the so-called "Queen of the mountains" on easy hiking passages and short walks. You can experience some Swiss mountain culture during the visit of a cheese dairy. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Alps during an easy hike to Rigi Kaltbad. The Rigi cable car will take you from here to Weggis.
You go: by boat.
A picturesque boat ride from Weggis across the beautiful Lake Lucerne brings you to the city of Lucerne, from where the journey up Mount Pilatus begins. On the ship you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch.
You experience: the Pilatus.
From Lucerne you take the bus to the Pilatus cable car, which transports you in 4-person gondolas to the majestic summit. Already the ride is spectacular, because you can see the city of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne!
You then transfer to the Dragon Ride aerial cable car, which takes you to the summit at 2032 meters above sea level. Up here you can hike the Dragon Caves trails, take an adventure walk, and maybe even see wild ibex.
You'll stop at: Pilatus Visitor Center.
Here you can have refreshments, buy souvenirs and enjoy the view.
Way back: to Lucerne.
After the break, the descent to Alpnachstad begins. You get on the steepest cog railroad in the world. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Swiss nature one last time and then take the train directly back to Lucerne.

- On the peaks it can get chilly, so a warm and windproof jacket is recommended
