Gwatt is located on Lake Thun and stretches along the main road between Thun and Spiez. Together with the hamlet of Buchholz and the former village of Schoren, Gwatt forms the Leistgebiet Gwatt-Schoren-Buchholz. The village at 561 m above sea level invites you to swim in Lake Thun in summer and is less than ten minutes away from the city center of Thun. Gwatt is well suited as a starting point for surf skiing activities.
