Grimsel Canyoning for beginners and advanced from Interlaken

This canyon hike near Grimsel offers you a variety of action-packed obstacles. You can tackle all of them optionally, depending on your preferences. The only exception is the spectacular 50-meter abseil at the start of the tour, which can't be bypassed. The canyon at Grimsel impresses not only with its diversity but especially with its wild landscape and rock formations.

You will be picked up at a pre-arranged location and driven to the base in Matten near Interlaken. Here, you will prepare all the equipment for your adventure together with the guide. After that, it's off to the Grimsel Pass, which is about an hour's drive away.

Before heading into the canyon, your guide will give you a detailed safety briefing and explain the rules as well as the key techniques.

The trip through the gorge begins with a real highlight; you will abseil 50 meters down into the canyon at the start. After that, you will continue for 2 to 2.5 hours over natural waterslides, past waterfalls, through crystal-clear pools, and jumping into deep basins.

To wrap up your adventure, you'll be provided with a drink and a small snack before the return trip by car begins.
