The Graubünden Pass lets you travel throughout Graubünden using public transport. This means you can be spontaneous and change your plans without any hassle.
You can choose between two options for the Graubünden Pass:
With just one ticket, you can use trains, buses, and postal coaches. You can ride 4 cable cars (one-way) at half price.
Additionally, you can use the leisure vouchers from the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) for discounts ranging from 20% to 50%. For partner offers from the postal coaches in Graubünden, you'll get a 20% discount.
For more detailed information on the individual services, it’s best to check out the Graubünden Pass all Regions on Swiss Activities.
The Bernina Express and Glacier Express panorama trains are included in the Graubünden Pass, but you also need a seat reservation on both panorama trains (as well as on the panorama bus to Lugano).
Within the Graubünden Pass, the following routes count:
The Bernina Express is a panoramic train of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) that crosses the Alps. Its routes run between Chur and Tirano (IT) or St. Moritz and Tirano (IT). In the period from February to about mid-November, the Bernina Express Panoramabus then continues to Lugano. All these routes are included in the Graubünden Pass. In addition, there is the mandatory reservation fee for train and bus.
The Glacier Express operates as a panoramic train between St. Moritz and Zermatt. The part that is within the scope of the Graubünden Pass is between St. Moritz and the Oberalp Pass.
The section between St. Moritz and Disentis is part of the network of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). Between Disentis and the Oberalp Pass is already the route network of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB). In Disentis, there is a change of personnel when you travel between St. Moritz and Zermatt. But you will not notice anything, the train will not be changed.
The Graubündenpass Zone Nord gives you unrestricted access in the North Zone. You can find the link to the route network at the top of the table, as well as in the offer from Swiss Activities Graubündenpass Zone Nord.
The Graubünden Pass Zone South lets you travel freely on public transport within the southern region of Graubünden (Engadin). The route networks of the northern and southern zones overlap slightly, which you can see clearly on the network map. You'll find the link at the top of the table and in the offer of the Graubünden Pass Zone South on Swiss Activities.
The Graubünden Family Pass offers the same benefits as the Graubünden Pass for all regions. However, it is only issued on the first Sunday of each month.
The Graubünden Family Pass is valid for the following individuals:
You can find more details about the Graubünden Family Pass at Swiss Activities.
The Graubünden Pass Bike can be purchased for both adults and children. With this pass, you can take your bike along and conveniently transport it across all of Graubünden with just one ticket, except where you prefer to ride your bike yourself. 😀
The Graubünden Pass Bike is valid for just one day but offers the same benefits as the Graubünden Pass for all regions.
If you’d like, you can also buy the Graubünden Pass for just one zone (South or North). In the Graubünden Pass Bike offer from Swiss Activities, you’ll find all the details.
With the Graubündenpass you can save a lot. If you already know in advance that you will move exclusively in one of the two zones, you save even more. And in addition to the saved ticket prices, there are further discounts.
The leisure vouchers of the Rhaetian Railway, for example, give you a 20 to 25% discount on indoor swimming pools and saunas in the Bogn Engiadina or the Ovavera in the South zone. In the North Zone you get, among other discounts, for example 2 tickets for the price of one for the Rufalipark, the indoor play paradise in Obersaxen.
Four mountain railroads grant you a 50% discount with this pass and you save 20% when you use partner offers of the Postbus.
With the Graubündenpass 5 days within 14 days you save, calculated on the days, very special. An absolute bargain is the Graubündenpass Family.
The Graubündenpass is especially worthwhile for you if you:
150 valleys, 615 lakes and 12 rivers shape the landscape of the Graubünden region between some 900 mountain peaks. Whether you long for the vastness of the Engadine, want to walk an impressive gorge like the Viamala, are looking for a glacier, mountain peak, mountain lake or the only national park in Switzerland, whether you want to do sports in summer and winter or are looking for a dreamy mountain village, the region of Graubünden can offer it to you.
