Description
Disc Golf is a new trend sport. Whether alone or in a large group, beginner or professional, Disc Golf is a very versatile game. A round over the entire Purple Disc Golf course includes 18 lanes. Each lane has a large basket to be hit with the Frisbees. It is also possible to play a shortened round (for example: 13 baskets: from 3 straight to 9).
Groups of 10 people or more will receive instruction from a professional disc golfer who will explain the process of the game or competition. Each discard (drive) is made from a specific spot, which changes each time to where the previous disc came to rest.
Depending on the size of the group, a complete round takes between 1:30 and 3:30 hours. For groups of 30 or more, an award ceremony with several podium places is offered.
Practical information:
- Languages: English, German, Polish, Spanish
- Arrival by car: Paid parking available: in the parking lot "TCS" (enter in Google Maps, Discs Golf Lila). This is about 700 m from the course.
- Arrival by public transport: Tram no. 10 from Basel to Ettingen or Flüh. From there take bus no. 69 to Mariastein stop, turn off Rotberg. Approx. 200m to streetcar 7, where you can alternatively start the loop. Please inform organizer in advance.
- Groups under 10 persons: For desired instruction please ask organizer after booking
- Please inform organizer after booking if you need more rental discs
Swiss Activities Tip
If you want to combine an event with purple disc golf, you have good opportunities here. Mass accommodation is available in the immediate vicinity and there is a conference room for up to 50 people. Food, drinks and possible transportation will be organized for you on request. Children will find animals to look at (cows, llamas and alpacas).
