The Golden Pass Express runs between Interlaken and Montreux. The train features particularly large panoramic windows in all classes for a uniquely impressive view.
The new Golden Pass Express offers three different travel classes. In addition to 1st and 2nd class, there is the Prestige class. It is characterized by comfortable, adjustable seats. Newly, these can be heated and rotated by the train staff in the direction of travel.
All three classes provide a unique view and an unforgettable experience throughout the journey thanks to the large panoramic windows. Please note that you need a seat reservation for this trip.

I booked my tickets using the seat reservation from Montreux to Interlaken months in advance, only to find out on the day that this ticket only covered my seat reservation, so I had to then pay for an actual ticket on the day. I had no idea that you could reserve a seat on a train that you are not on, I’ve never heard anything like it. The actual train was very good, but I would never book via Swiss activities again, as this whole process was very unclear and stressful.
