Füllinsdorf is located in the district of Liestal in Baselland at 330 m above sea level and consists essentially of two areas. The plain is characterized by residential quarters with large multi-family houses and the sunny slope extends over a wide area with single-family houses. About 4500 people live in Füllinsdorf. The village has been known since the 9th century. Among the sights of national importance are a Roman water conduit and the Büechlihau, a Bronze Age Roman cult site. In the forest above the village lies the medieval ruins of Altenberg Castle. Besides hikes, bicycle tours in the area around Füllinsdorf are very popular. There is a skate park and a fun park in neighboring Frenkendorf. The Liestal lookout tower is located a few kilometers south of Füllinsdorf.
