Freeriding refers to skiing off-piste through untouched terrain. It is one of the most fun ways to discover the beautiful snowy landscape of the Zermatt mountain region. On this experience, you spend a whole day skiing with a qualified mountain guide through the white snow fields next to the pistes.
You meet your mountain guide at 08:30 at the Klein Matterhorn valley station. You then take the cable car up to the ski area. Once at the top, the skiing experience really gets going. Depending on the snow conditions and the ability of the participants, you will ski together through the untouched powder snow next to the pistes. This includes exciting glacier descents and couloirs.
At lunchtime, you take an hour's break in one of the mountain restaurants. In the afternoon, it's back to the fresh snow. The activity ends at around 16:00 back down in the ski area.
