Arrival and departure
At the valley station of the Chur cable cars you will get your route, the round trip ticket and your picnic bag with Grisons specialties.
You first take the Chur-Dreibündenstein aerial tramway to the Känzeli middle station. From there, a four-seater gondola lift takes you up to Brambrüesch.
Here begins the panoramic trail to Pradaschier. You enjoy the mountain idyll and a great view of the Lenzerheidner mountains.
On the beautiful plateau around the Dreibündenstein you take a break. Here you can enjoy Graubünden specialties out of the bag. The wonderful panoramic view also lets you enjoy the mountain ranges of the Tectonic Arena Sardona. They belong to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage.
You then continue your hike in the direction of Feldis. From Mutta you can take the chairlift, if it is open. In Feldis you take the cable car to Rhäzüns.
Duration: half day
Hiking time: approx. 3:30 h resp. 4:10 h (with/without use of chairlift Mutta)
Distance: 9.2 km or 12.7 km (with/without use of chairlift Mutta)
Altitude difference: 630 m
Hiking route: Brambrüesch mountain station - Spundis - Furggabüel - Dreibündenstein - Mutta mountain station - Feldis (if chairlift closed)
The round trip ends with a ride from Rhäzüns by bus or train to the starting point in Chur.

At 2160 m above sea level, the Dreibündenstein marks the common border point of the former Free State of the Three Rhaetian Confederations:
The present stele was erected in 915 and is 15 m high. The old boundary stone from 1722 is today in the Rhaetian Museum in Chur.
