Description
One of the largest caves in the world is hidden in the beautiful Muotathal in the canton of Schwyz: the Hölloch. Over 200 kilometers of the cave system have been explored so far and a large part of it can be discovered even by laymen
The Hölloch was formed by underground water. Over a million years the cave system was created this way. Discover with a guide this fantastic and mystical underground world and be enchanted by stalactites and rock formations. The route of the short tour is accessible by stairs and paths. There is no easier way to explore the atmosphere of the hellhole.
In front of the guard house you will meet your guide and the other participants. You will be equipped with everything you need for a short tour in the cave. Put on your helmet and headlamp and let's go. This tour will show you the beautiful interior of the cave. Darkness and magical atmosphere as well as fantastic acoustics accompany you on the tour. You will discover the winding side passages and beautiful stalactites while your guide tells you a lot of interesting facts about the history, formation and fauna of the cave
At the end of the tour, a short concert in the middle of the cave will put you under the spell of the cave acoustics. In the middle of the cave you will find the Hölloch Event Location. By candlelight and great cave music, you and your group will enjoy a delicious raclette with side dishes (potatoes, pickles, etc.) and drinks. After this culinary experience you go back up to the surface and you can review your breathtaking experience

- Requirements: possible without physical fitness, surefootedness
- Group tour possible up to max. 30 persons
- Upon request, beer or red wine can be consumed with raclette
