Culinary Tour in Fribourg self-guided

Fribourg is one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Europe. Discover on this tour not only the idyllic streets of the city, but also the rich culinary world. Admire the many sights and stop at a total of 5 places to taste a variety of dishes.

The starting point of the tour is at the tourist office in the Equilibre Theater. There you will receive all information, the City Card and a small cotton bag with a Villars chocolate. Afterwards the delicious tour starts.

With the City Card you can use all public transport in the city. The tasting points include:

• the Tourist Office at the starting point
• the coffee bar Point Commun
• the restaurant Les Trentenaires
• the Boutique Les Marchands Merciers
• the Brasserie de L'Épée

At these locations, you'll taste everything from beer and wine to seasonal dishes. After the tour, you'll know both the city of Fribourg and its restaurants a little better.

The city of Fribourg is known for its medieval buildings and Gothic architecture. In the center of Fribourg stands the great St. Nicholas Cathedral. A visit to this cathedral should not be missed on any visit. Admire the beautiful paintings inside and the old gothic architecture from the outside. You can also climb the bell tower and enjoy a unique view over the city (included with the City Card).
