Culinary Panorama High Trail on the Pizol

Experience a varied, approx hike on a great panoramic high trail. Here you can enjoy gigantic views of the mountain landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona. In addition, you can look forward to two stops in great restaurants and enjoy a delicious 2-course menu.

The tour starts in Bad Ragaz or Wangs. From there you take the gondola and chair lift to Laufböden or Pizolhütte. If you start in Bad Ragaz, you will first enjoy a delicious starter in the Laufbodenstübli. Then you hike on the Pizol Panorama Höhenweg to the Pizolhütte. Here a delicious main course awaits you

On the way home you take the gondola and chair lift back down to the valley.

If you start the tour in Wangs, after the gondola and chairlift ride you first hike about 45 minutes to the Laufbodenstübli

Practical information:

• If you do not want to do the whole hike, you can call a free hiking bus from 14:00 back to the starting valley station
• Difficulty: easy
• Height difference: 30 m
• Distance: 3.3 km
• Time required: 4 hours (hiking time about one hour)

We recommend you to do the beautiful Five Lakes Hike, this is one of the most beautiful panoramic hikes in Switzerland. If you are looking for a bit of variety, you can also whizz through the mountains on the Alpine Scooter
