Description
A packed rucksack awaits you and your companion at the Hotel Vitznauerhof. Take the Rigi Railway from Vitznau to Rigi Kaltbad. Once at the top, you can use the enclosed map to start walking and work up an appetite, or simply find a nice spot for the beer picnic.
As soon as you arrive back at the bottom, return your rucksack with cutlery and crockery to the Hotel Vitznauerhof.
Swiss Activities Tip
A short walk of around 15 minutes takes you from Rigi Kaltbad to the Känzeli viewpoint. The view from Känzeli is particularly beautiful. You can see not only Lake Lucerne, but the entire Alpine chain. There is even a telescope.
