You will visit the monastery in Einsiedeln on a public guided tour. You will also be guided through the otherwise inaccessible abbey library. Here you will find around 20,000 of the 230,000 printed books, manuscripts and printed books from the beginning of the art of printing.
A slide show about the history and life of the monastic community complements this tour from 15:30.

Visit the Einsiedeln Christmas market in front of Einsiedeln Abbey, which takes place from 29 November to 8 December 2024. Set against the fantastic backdrop of Einsiedeln Abbey and along the entire main street, the market has a very special charm.
