E-bike Culinary Tour at Lake Walen self-guided

Enjoy the beautiful nature at Lake Walen and ride an e-bike through the picturesque villages and along the lakeside path. Stop at three fantastic restaurants and indulge in a starter, main course, and dessert.

The experience begins with picking up your e-bike at Intersport Network in Unterterzen. Recommended start time is 10:00 AM. You’ll then head towards Mühlehorn, passing through charming locations and enjoying stunning views along the way.

At the Seerestaurant zur Brauerei in Mühlehorn, take a break for your starter. Afterward, continue on to Weesen. At the Restaurant Flyhof, a delicious main course awaits you with a view of Lake Walen. Following that, you'll take a boat across the fjord-like Lake Walen back to Unterterzen. Here, you’ll return your e-bike and then head to Restaurant Marina Walensee to finish your outing with a dessert.

Appetizer from August 4 to September 27, 2025, at Restaurant Flyhof, Weesen (available from 11:30 AM):

• Carrot-ginger soup with lemon oil and chives
• Flyhof salad: Mixed leafy greens with carrots, beets, apple, and seeds, dressed with our house sauce
• Nüssli salad with egg and croutons in a French dressing

Main course at Restaurant Flyhof:

• Baked beet falafel on a couscous salad with vegetables, dates, roasted cashews, pomegranate seeds, and spices, topped with fresh mint and yogurt or
• Cheeseburger with house sauce, alpine cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce, served with French fries or
• Fried corn-fed chicken breast with French fries, colorful vegetables, and rich gravy
• Seasonal adjustments may occur.

Dessert at Marina Walensee, Unterterzen

• 2 scoops of ice cream of your choice with whipped cream
• Affogato coffee

Do you want to spend some more time at the beautiful Walensee? Then we recommend visiting the charming little Mediterranean village of Quinten. The village is a car-free wine village right by the lake. You'll be greeted by a picturesque setting and soothing tranquility. You can either hike to Quinten or take a boat ride. In the village, there are great restaurants for a nice and relaxing lunch or dinner.
