Description
Your coach journey begins in Geneva and takes you past Lake Geneva through the Vaud Alps. You pass through the Bernese Oberland and reach Interlaken. After a short stop, you continue to Lauterbrunnen. From here, take the cogwheel railroad via Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch. This will take you to the highest railroad station in Europe at 3454 m above sea level.
At the Jungfraujoch, you can see the Great Aletsch Glacier and look out over a sea of mountain peaks on the other side. You visit the Ice Palace and the Alpine Sensation in a 250-metre-long ice tunnel under the Aletsch Glacier.
Swiss Activities Tip
Visit the Snow Fun Park on the Jungfraujoch if your free time allows. The Snow Fun Park is open daily from the end of May to mid-October. As well as snow in summer, it has another attraction to offer: a zip wire.
