From Zurich: Day trip to Lucerne

Lucerne is undoubtedly one of the most charming cities in Switzerland. The city on Lake Lucerne enchants with its medieval architecture, alleys full of character and other sights.

In the morning at 9:30 a.m. you board the modern coach in Zurich and are greeted by the tour guide. The comfortable coach will take you over the Albis Pass to Lucerne. The tour guide on board will inform you in an entertaining way about the history and traditions of the Swiss midlands. A photo stop is made at Lake Lucerne. The turquoise lake and the hills and mountains in the background make a spectacular motif.

This first highlight is followed by a short orientation drive through Lucerne. The tour guide will point out the most important sights. Afterwards you have six hours to explore Lucerne on your own. You will be provided with detailed written information.

Stroll through the charming old town, stop at one of the many restaurants or visit the famous Swiss Museum of Transport. You also have the opportunity to take a boat trip on Lake Lucerne. In the late afternoon you make your way back to Zurich by coach.
